dressing up & SHOWING up for MYSELF daily!

there’s a very unlikely possibility that you will ever be able to look at me & tell what i am going through or experiencing. i rise out of bed daily – sometimes i have the resources to travel into the city with my sister & sometimes i just have to remain home & work with what i have. for some reason lately being stuck in the house & up in the community that i grew up in has been affecting me very negatively.

many times i get out of bed, dress up in outfits that bring a smile to my face or even make me laugh at myself ridiculously - since sometimes the outfits remind me of a child having fun dressing themselves. i do this many days because this is one of the many things that has been getting me out of the depressive state i’ve been in for the past few weeks. getting out of bed has been the most difficult part of my days lately.

apart from all the other practices i’ve learnt as a 108 disciple of the MSA’s teachings that are aiding to get me back to a state of peace & bliss rather than dwelling in this depressive state – dressing up makes me happy! i get to wear whatever the fuck i want, however i want, whenever i want. then, when i trod the streets & i see a reaction from onlookers or hear an odd comment – i get to break out my big beautiful smile or laugh completely out loud because i know that everything i do is with intention & for a purpose.

without being affected by anyone – i get to do whatever is necessary to ensure that my mental health is intact. it is only the divine energies & i that are aware of the challenges i face daily.
